CADERNO ("we", "our", or "the app") is developed by santanadeveloper. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

Data We Collect

CADERNO is designed with a privacy-first approach. We collect as little data as possible:

• Your Notes: Text notes and voice recordings are stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. We do not have access to your notes.
• Subscription Data: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat processes your purchase information (subscription status, plan type, transaction identifiers) to verify your subscription. This data is linked to an anonymous app user ID, not to your personal identity.
• No Analytics or Tracking: We do not use any analytics services, tracking pixels, or advertising frameworks. We do not track your usage behavior.

iCloud & CloudKit

If you enable iCloud sync, your notes are stored in your private CloudKit container associated with your Apple ID. This data is encrypted by Apple and only accessible by you. We cannot read, access, or retrieve your notes stored in iCloud. Apple's privacy policy governs the handling of your iCloud data.

Subscription & Payments

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.).

We use RevenueCat as our subscription management platform. RevenueCat receives:

• An anonymous app user identifier
• Subscription status and plan type
• Purchase and transaction dates
• Country/region (as provided by the App Store)

RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, or any note content. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Speech Recognition

CADERNO uses Apple's on-device speech recognition for voice-to-text conversion. Audio is processed locally on your device and is not sent to external servers.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. The only third-party service we use is RevenueCat for subscription management, as described above.

Data Retention

Your notes remain on your device and in your iCloud account for as long as you choose to keep them. If you delete a note, it is removed from your device and iCloud. If you delete the app but have iCloud sync enabled, your notes remain in your iCloud account until you manually remove them.

Subscription data held by RevenueCat is retained in accordance with their data retention policies and applicable law.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access, modify, or delete your notes at any time within the app
• Disable iCloud sync in your device settings
• Cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings
• Request information about data held by RevenueCat by contacting us

Children's Privacy

CADERNO is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
