Choose a hero (Dragon, Princess, Robot, etc.), pick a theme (Friendship, Courage, Kindness...), and select a setting (Forest, Space, Ocean...). Then choose the age range and story length, and tap "Generate Story". Your unique bedtime story will be ready in seconds.

Spleis is completely free for 7 days with full access to all features. After the trial ends, you'll need a subscription to continue: Monthly (€4.99/month) or Yearly (€49.99/year).

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Spleis, and tap "Cancel Subscription". You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

You need an internet connection to generate new stories since they are created using AI. However, all your saved stories are available offline anytime — perfect for reading at bedtime without Wi-Fi.

Absolutely. Every story is generated with strict safety rules: positive tone only, no violence, no horror, no scary content, and always a happy ending. Vocabulary is adapted to the selected age range. Child safety is non-negotiable for us.

Yes! There's an optional field where you can enter your child's name. The generated story will feature your child as part of the adventure. If you leave it blank, the story will use the chosen hero character instead.

Spleis currently supports five languages: English, Português, Italiano, Français, and Español. Stories are generated entirely in your chosen language, including age-appropriate vocabulary.

There's no limit! You can save as many stories as you want. All your saved stories are stored on your device and available anytime, even offline.

Yes. All your stories and preferences are stored locally on your device. We don't have accounts, we don't track you, and we don't sell data. Story prompts are sent to OpenAI for generation but are not used to train their models. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

First, check your internet connection since story generation requires it. Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue continues, make sure you're running the latest version from the App Store.
